Little John Beecher was a Jazz musician, professionally, for nearly all of his life.  His first professional band was a group called Tiny's Ten when he was just 14 years old! He owned bands, he led bands owned by his friends and fellow musicians, he was employed by bands, and music was his first and greatest passion.

As he passed away long ago, and many of his peers have by now as well, I've created this page to try and collect pictures, stories, and information about him here for posterity. If you knew him, loved him, hated him, or enjoyed his music, I'd love to hear all about it!  Please email and send pictures if you have them.

I would especially love to see any of his original sheet music, records, or any other materials from his life and career!  I'll try to update this as I gain more.
